Help, my VS Code suddenly started making sounds? Maybe it’s a Mac issue?

Hi! Has any other Mac user noticed this recently?
VS Code suddenly started making new sounds while I’m using it, and since I’m at work it’s getting pretty annoying.
The only apps I’ve installed recently are Kiro and Tabby, but I don’t think either of them should have changed any system settings.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Is this a new VS Code feature/setting, or could it be something on macOS?

Hardcore 14-17 August

Hey! I’ll be in Kraków from the 14th to the 17th. Are there any hard music events happening around those dates? Just no hard techno please 😅

Tick? Found on my leg about 5 hours after being in a field. It wasn’t attached.

Hi everyone,

I’m pretty panicked right now. Earlier today I walked through a field for less than 10 minutes. About 5 hours later, after I had already gone home and eaten dinner, I felt something crawling on my leg. I looked down and found what appears to be a tick.

I removed it very easily—it wasn’t attached to my skin at all, and I didn’t have to pull or twist it off. Is it really possible that after all that time it never bit me?

Should I go to the hospital or do anything else? I disinfected my leg immediately afterward, but I’m worried I may have missed a bite somewhere.

I initially flushed the tick down the toilet, but about 20 minutes later I went back into the bathroom and saw it trying to climb out. I managed to take a photo before finally destroying it.

Does this sound like a tick that never attached, or should I still be concerned about being bitten?
