Title: Is work experience required for jobs in Germany after masters + which universities can I realistically target?
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to understand both job prospects in Germany and my chances for a Master’s there.I am planning to do masters in cs.
My profile:
BTech (Computer Science) with ~8.5 CGPA
C1 level German
AI research internship (at a reputed institute)
Web development internship at TCS
Placed after 3rd year and worked ~8 months full-time (mostly during final year)
Questions about jobs:
Is this level of experience enough to get an entry-level job in Germany?
Or do companies usually expect 2–3 years of experience even if you speak German well?
Should I gain more experience in India before applying?
Which German universities can I realistically target with my profile (TU9 / public universities / FH)?
Would really appreciate honest advice from people studying or working in Germany.
