So i went to dentist to treat infected tooth and got antibiotics that supposed to clear infection. (That was 6 months ago).
Since then I started having tears in my anus and painful bm with little blood on toilet paper and stool itself. Also I had skin infection around anus (dry, inflamed and flaky skin).
So i started with anusol and for a moment it did help but overtime skin infection got worse so went to doctors.he prescribed some antifungal for 2 weeks and finally my my skin looks healthy however fissure is still there and keeps opening. I got Glyceryl trinitrate prescribed and used if for 10 weeks.
During that time it helped a lot although I couldn't stand headaches each time I was applying it but I told myself I need to finish treatment. In that time i had maybe 3 painful retears even when taking lots of fibre and water. My stool still was bulky and hard as rock when retear happened.
So I thought Ill get some stool softener and occasionally I took ibs overcounter tablets (I'll explain in a moment)
So in was perfectly fine for 2 weeks even when had constipation, but today it happened again and really I lost will to live.
Reason for ibs tablets because I feel a pain in lower abdomen especially when retear happens - so not sure if this was right call.
Ill going to doc again with all this. Im tired and scared and cannot even sit in office chair (im developer and im sitting most to the time) but it gets better after a week or so? During retear I cannot sit straight for more than 1 hour. Pain in lower abdomen stays for nearly entire day after retear
And what i dont understand is this pain in lower abdomen
Doc said before it is normal but im concerned if this is sign of something more serious. Pain is spread between hips and eventually it gets better as fissure heals.
Is it just muscle spasm ? Did anyone had pain that did spread that wide? Or this is really big fissure and expected?
Also another question about position of fissure.
Most of the time it is positioned at 6 oclock (towards spine and got single skin tag postioned there too) but sometimes i feel like its on 3 and 9 oclock (more often 3 oclock than 9 but still 6 oclock is nearly constant). I dont think this is crohns as I dont have constant watery diarrhea but now i cannot rollout anything.
Lot of questions but got another:
During that time I've lost about 4kg without even trying but what interesting is that I've lost it only in waist (can see it on trousers belt) but overall it dont see any weight loss anywhere else. I monitor weight every week now and seems stabilisied but that belt concerns me too
Is there any correlation between something serious and fissures apart from crohns? Or this is natural body reaction to inflammation?
