We will be in Bodø from 8 June to 15 June for a conference. We arrive at BOO from OSL on the 8th around 1300, and our hotel in Bodø starts on the 10th.

Should we just add the two days on (which we can do), stay in town, and see the sights? Or, I can rent a car, and we could drive down to Mosjøen, spend a day or a bit, then work our way back to Bodø.

There's a bit more cost to having a rental car (I don't mind an EV, I own one here), but is parking an issue in town, or are there plenty of places to go and see with other forms of transport? I will also have some extra time while my spouse is at the conference.

Sorry to be a little vague, but any ideas are appreciated.
