I made it NSFW because not everyone wants to see an insect bite. I woke up this morning noticing a dark spot on my stomach, on closer inspection it was a tick. I removed the tick which couldn’t have been there for more than 24hours.
Should I be worried about it? Go to urgent care to get medicine, or wait it out as the tick was attached for less than 48hrs?
My concern is the way it looks, I have family history of an auto immune diseases, I have psoriasis and a condition where I bruise easily/randomly, so it’s hard to decipher if the wound is normal because I’m used to my injuries looking worse than they are supposed to.
Update: i was prescribed doxycycline
