Heroes disappearing
So I've been playing as Schism against 7 AI opponents on impossible on the map Diamond. I spent a lot of time building my hero and even managed to get one of her specialties, but then I started to notice that from having enemy heroes constantly running through the areas I could see, there was now hardly any.
I initially thought it was because some players had been eliminated and fighting was happening where I hadn't explored yet. I then realised that it wasn't letting me recruit any new heroes. In the end I explored the entire map with my main hero and the enemies didn't have a single hero. I just walked into their castles one by one until I won. Ultimately a really anticlimactic and boring win after I invested quite a bit of time into the game.
Is this a bug, is there a setting or feature that I'm not aware of that might have caused this as probably not going to waste my time playing again if there is a chance of this happening again
