"The Siren"
This "Siren" is like the old tales speak of. Alluring people with their song until they fall into the murky waters, giving a false sense of security, attention, affection, anything to keep you enthralled. The siren adores you, brings you what you need, but crumbs can feel like loaves to the starved. More are enthralled by their song. But if you step out of line or threaten to harm the siren. The Siren and her new companions do not hesitate to tear you apart.. And curse your future.
This is my summary to describe the player in question on Argent Dawn. I was not enthralled by their song, as I am not of the right sex, nor of a vulnerable age or vulnerable emotional state. All I knew I was getting invited to an RP campaign and in the beginning everything seemed normal. But just after two months in company with the group and the "Siren", things quickly uncovered of what had happened. And new and new stories kept coming up, emerging.. more and more and more.. How coincidental is it that multiple people that don't know each other experience similar stories? And this never stopped, it still hasn't stopped. This person is still going. Still hurting people.
Yes, by my definition, observation and opinion this person creates a simp-army after getting in their "pants", one after the other, charmed and following like a starved dog. Only to leave them abused and violated privately after they lose their purpose to them. Defaming them with false allegations or saying that they were the "actual victim" and then send their flying monkeys to do their bidding and threatening people because the Siren have it "so bad". Either in game on WoW, or on Discord.
And if the Siren was questioned, they rotated stories of being a victim, primarily that the "other person" is a "creepy stalker" even if the Siren initiated and invited to exotic activities, primarily creating a discord room that they could just up and delete whenever convenient and for the victim to be robbed of any proof.
When they wanted to get rid of you, you were the criminal, and either trapped your toon by doing encouraging aggressive activity, only to weaponize it against them when it was convenient. I have plenty of data to back up the claims of the Siren's behavior, and I genuinely wish there was a report option for players like these, where I can post screenshots of what violations they are doing. The ones that are not only a bit toxic, or that cheats in the game, but the ones that actually violate people's privacy and ruin peoples reputation, peace, and lives! The abusive ones that leave such big traumas and shreds trust.
And a lot of people don't actually recognize threats when they come up, so they don't know if they should report them or not.
Abuse is not only "big dramatic" events, it's consistent and meticulous, like plucking a single hair out of your nostril, but over and over... and over.
Why should victims be ostracized by the community by false allegations? Damage that cannot be undone? And yes, I have encouraged my friends - especially in the RP world to not trust people quickly OOC and avoid doing risky stuff.
RP is meant to have some drama, but should be kept IC. This is not IC anymore. This person is messing up lives.
I don't wish harm upon this person, only justice for the victims. Rant over.
