Differentiation is not devaluation. A male house cat has different needs and characteristics than a male lion. There is a difference between a Coors Lite and an India Pale Ale. Sweet red wine and a shot of whiskey have DIFFERENT characteristics. Does that make one better or less than the other? Absolutely NOT. Another example, neurodivergent is an umbrella term, while other terms branch off like autism, AuHD, etc. Saying I desire a branching term that celebrates and acknowledges my side of the gradient on the trans man spectrum, because my NATURAL characteristics are hard leaning rugged (like a bull), is not an attack, discrimination nor devaluation of femininity and has nothing to do with stereotypes nor dysphoria. It's about as controversial as saying water is wet and gasoline ignites.

What frustrates me the most about many of these spaces is the bashing of masculinity especially more accentuated or pungent forms of it, and the victimhood mentality that attempts to silence the expression of that grade of energy.

How is it okay to have a term like femboy but say it's not okay to have a term for a vigorous masculine type? And requesting that differentiation is requesting recognition and a space to meet similar types should be invited not shunned especially in the trans men/transmasculine community.

I posted about this last night and my post was not taken well. I'll admit I was a bit angry+exhausted and could have articulated myself a bit better. However, this doesn't change the heart of that message which I articulated better here.
