New 2026 V7 Special - Can't engage cruise control.

New Guzzi owner here. Picked up a brand new 2026 V7 Special last week and for the life of me, I can't figure out how to actually set a speed with the cruise control. I hold down the right mode button for >3 seconds and see the icon flashing but I'm finding it impossible to actually set a speed. Once the icon is flashing and the throttle is engaged, I've tried a rapid press of the mode button, a longer press, pressing it harder, pressing it softer, etc. to no avail. I realize that you have to be within a certain speed range depending on the gear, which I'm well within when trying to activate it. Any advice? It hasn't been too much a problem in practice - I haven't been doing much riding that would necessitate using it. But I'm still frustrated that I can't get it to work. Am I just dumb? Is there a trick to it? Or do I need to just get it back into the dealership?
