Hi everyone, I was hoping some people here could share some wisdom. I’m buying a new motor for my BK1 and since it’s no longer my daily I was thinking about upgrading it. I have zero experience with modifying these motors and was hoping for some good brands I could go to for parts.
I want to try make 350-400 WHP and stay around $5k plus whatever it costs to tune it, if that’s not possible I can probably up my budget or lower my horsepower numbers, but I was mostly curious what mods I’d need for that. I’m so far looking at better injectors, intercooler, air intake, and exhaust, but don’t know much beyond that, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: I forgot to mention that I know the connecting rods tend to be a weak point and am looking into upgrading those.
