Hi all! I have taken my boy to the vet last week for some particularly teary drainage from his right eye. He was prescribed Neomycin ointment BID. It seemed to get better over the last few days but today it is worsen if not the same as before. He has also been oddly trying not to blink? Like putting the ointment on his eyeball, he won’t blink if it directly contacts his eye. He is still closing it to sleep but it’s odd. Also noticed when he is in sunlight he isn’t squinting as much with his right eye compared to the left. His doggy eyebrow has also recently started twitching. Is he in pain? Is this ER worthy or can it wait for my regular vet? Any comfort measures in the meantime? Thank you.
