Been spending time reviewing small channels lately and noticed the exact same issues coming up again and again regardless of niche. Thought it was worth sharing here since this community is full of creators dealing with these exact problems.
1. Title keyword is buried after the 5th word YouTube reads the first 3 words of your title most heavily for search ranking. If your main keyword is at the end nobody finds you. Example "My Crazy Adventure in the Forbidden Zone Roblox" should be "Forbidden Zone Roblox My Crazy Adventure."
2. Description is empty or one line No timestamps, no keywords, no call to action. YouTube uses your description to understand what your video is about. An empty description tells the algorithm nothing and ranks you nowhere.
3. Upload schedule has gaps of 2 plus weeks Consistency signals to the algorithm that your channel is active. A 3 week gap can cut your impressions in half. Even one upload per week beats three uploads then silence.
4. Thumbnail has no contrast on mobile Over 70% of views come from mobile. If your thumbnail text blends into the background it is invisible on a small screen. White text with a dark outline works on every background every time.
