How would you all recommend I get this patio looking better

I recently moved into my first house and was gifted this mower to use. This is my first mower, so I’d like to know the ins and outs if possible. I’m pretty handy when it comes to working on things (appliance repair technician) so I think I can handle basic maintenance on this. Thanks in advance!
