genuine question, I'm just baffled at the difference.

for context, both schools evaluate financial aid based on need. my family doesn't make much (thus, the 100% full tuition scholarship), but how can the other school evaluate this need, then award nothing?

it's 10k cost of living (housing, dining etc.) compared to 95k COA.

is this just the other school being stingy ? both schools are relatively well known, similar acceptance rates
