Italy Trip Solo Travel

Does this sound like a lot for someone who’s never been to Italy but did research on the cities and doing solo in the fall? I booked it so can’t really change it anymore haha but would love anyone’s thoughts, opinion, and advice. Using domestic flights to get to each city by the way because I don’t want to have to move around my two suitcases and backpacks around. Would be way too difficult and stressful for me alone.

-Milan 2 days (1 day dedicated to a day trip to Lake Como)
-Florence 5 days (maybe a day trip to Bologna)
-Rome 3 days
-Taormina 4 days

Solo Female Traveler

I’ll be going to Rome for 3 days before I head to Sicily. Solo traveling and a little nervous about Rome. Any tips? I know to keep my cross body bag in front and be aware of surroundings. I don’t want to walk alone at night or at major historical attractions so I’ll be taking taxis everywhere. I do have quite a few tours with tour companies. Am I able to ask the tour guide if they can wait for me for a taxi when I finish the tour or do you think they’ll say no? I just don’t want to be stranded anywhere after a tour especially at night. That way anyone trying to gang up on me. When I go to restaurants I’d just wait at the restaurant until taxi comes.

I used 20 points to book an economy flight to Seoul with Korean Air through Virgin Atlantic. The VA customer service rep didn’t hear me I guess when I said business and booked me economy until after I transferred points to VA and made the booking for me over the phone. Does anyone know if I’m able to upgrade with cash on the day of to business with a Korean Air agent?

Going to Catania from FCO. I’m staying in the main city in Rome which is about an hour away and flight at 9:40am. I need to check in my bags and go through security. I do have business class so not sure if there’s a faster lane for that. I scheduled a taxi at 6am to pick me up from hotel to FCO. Is that enough time or should I ask the taxi to come earlier?
