[bc]Putting baby to bed in bassinet in bedroom when baby monitor is set up for crib in nursery? Should I put baby down for nap in nursey so we can watch on the monitor and then transfer her to bassinet in bedroom with us when we go to bed? Also any bedtime tips for a 12 week old, 8 weeks adjusted?
Our baby monitor is set up in the nursery where the crib is (cannot be moved) but our baby currently sleeps in the bedroom with us in her bassinet. She is 12 weeks old (8 week adjusted, born a month early) and I want to start putting her down for "bedtime". Up until now she would just contact nap and go to bed whenever my husband goes to bed which is anytime between 11-2am. She has stated having fussy evenings and so I think it is time she has a proper bedtime. Should I put my baby down in her crib so that we can watch her on the monitor and then try to transfer her to the bassinet without waking her or is there a better option? I worry it would not be safe to have her unmonitored in the bassinet. Also any sleep or bedtime tips for a 12 week old, 8 weeks adjusted, would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!
