Just posted a walkthrough of what I found interesting from I/O for video creators. Quick notes:

  • Flow Agent mode step-by-step agentic video workflow with feedback loop; promising structure, but safety filter triggers and script adherence are rough.
  • Omni video model video-to-video editing is real and usable (restyling, object replacement, etc.) So cool!
  • Flow Music (formerly producer.ai) now generates lipsynced performer video alongside audio

Still early on the agent side — curious if others have found workarounds for safety triggers or better ways to keep agents on script

For my latest project, I wanted to see if I could use my AI stack (Flow, ElevenLabs, Suno) to create something with a very specific, historical texture.

The concept: a Qing era literati reciting an "eight-legged essay" on Revenge of the Sith

The challenge was maintaining the "refined" voice of the scholar, while prompting for humorous sighs, shouts, and whispers. ElevenLabs worked well for this.

I’m fond of Star Wars. I’m also a history buff, which led me to wonder what it would be like if a literati of the Qing Dynasty was to write a commentary on Revenge of the Sith.

For centuries, aspiring scholar-officials had to master the "eight-legged essay" (baguwen) to pass the Imperial Examinations. It required quoting, perfectly, the Four Books and Five Classics from memory while addressing topics chosen by the state.

We’ve all heard countless opinions on the prequels, but likely none that cite the Analects. For Star Wars Day 2026, I pushed my AI filmmaking workflow to bring this concept to life.

I know some people worry about AI displacement, but I’m fairly certain no 19th-century literati are currently employed explaining why the Jedi are Mohist heretics and Anakin is a model of Filial Piety (Xiao). It's just a bit of humor for May the 4th and Revenge of the 5th.
