With the release of this week of Claude Fable I was interested in how it would perform at attempting a "complete" TTRPG, albeit under 1200 words of my direction across 17 prompts.  The model eventually generated  a 34 page PDF with 9000 words of text, the complete layout, the prompting for 5 illustrations, and 5 songs.  All of this was done in a single chat session across various times, with a conversation near the limit of what the model could accommodate within a session, and it required all of a Pro plans usage requirements over 36 hours.)

At a high level, I feel it is an evocative, interesting, if short, journaling game.  Obviously, people’s tastes differ.  Fable’s output avoided many of the typical hallmarks of AI content. That doesn’t mean I think it is generally competent at creative writing—there are lots of reasons to believe that both long and short form creative writing are among the last things that such models could do.  Fable was helped here by the fact that the task required limited mechanics, shallow narrative structure, and was orientated around prompts and a creative brief that focused on estrangement in speculative setting.  

The illustrations were exactly what you’d expect if you’ve been following the field.  I don’t know enough about enka or city pop to judge the music, but other people have told me that it was strikingly expressive.  The layout was clear and appealing and organized information in a way that made it easy to follow and use.  It is better than I can accomplish, but far from the state of the art.

Or about RPG Trader, although I don't have any deep insight other than listing my game there. They only take a 20% cut, which is nice for creators, and evidently their print on demand is through Lulu rather than a Ingram.

Just posted a walkthrough of what I found interesting from I/O for video creators. Quick notes:

• Flow Agent mode step-by-step agentic video workflow with feedback loop; promising structure, but safety filter triggers and script adherence are rough.
• Omni video model video-to-video editing is real and usable (restyling, object replacement, etc.) So cool!
• Flow Music (formerly producer.ai) now generates lipsynced performer video alongside audio

Still early on the agent side — curious if others have found workarounds for safety triggers or better ways to keep agents on script

For my latest project, I wanted to see if I could use my AI stack (Flow, ElevenLabs, Suno) to create something with a very specific, historical texture.

The concept: a Qing era literati reciting an "eight-legged essay" on Revenge of the Sith

The challenge was maintaining the "refined" voice of the scholar, while prompting for humorous sighs, shouts, and whispers. ElevenLabs worked well for this.
