Hi everyone,

I’m flying WestJet from Victoria → Calgary →LKorea with a premium fare (2 checked bags included).

I’ll also be bringing a carbon road bike (under 10kg) packed in a bike box.

I’ve heard different things about how WestJet handles bicycles – some say it’s just a sporting equipment fee, others say it counts as a third checked bag.

Just wondering what people have actually experienced recently at the airport.

What did you end up paying for your bike?
