I am in awe of how good this fic is. Excellent characterization, fantastic relationship development.
The ways Ilya and Shane grow together, and the ways their story diverges from the books, are so well done and so beautiful.
The appearances of friends and family were just right, adding so much to the story without taking away from Shane/Ilya at the center.
I sped my way through this fic because I couldn't focus on anything else. Now I'm going to read it again at a more relaxed pace. I'm sure I'll be laughing, crying, yearning, and celebrating just as much the second time through.
