I just can’t seem to find the right way to study? My exams are coming up in two months and yet I am sitting doing nothing and scrolling on my phone.

I tried going to the library, going to study at school, studying at my dorm, studying home. I just can’t focus and I can’t sit on my desk for more than five minutes.

I really want to pass and I love what I am studying and I am motivated but I just can’t study!

Any advice or tips on what I should do?

I’m honestly a bit shaken and don’t know what to think, so I’d really appreciate some outside perspective.

On September 5th, I had a car accident with someone I didn’t know at all. We were on a roundabout, he was in the left lane and I was in the right lane, and he suddenly moved into my lane and hit my car. We handled everything normally: exchanged information, filled out the accident form, no police involved. He lives about 70 km away from me.

After the accident, he sent me a few messages checking if everything was going okay with the car repairs. I didn’t really respond much because I didn’t feel the need to stay in contact.

Now today, April 27th, I had another accident with the SAME person.

This time it happened near my university. My car was parked when he hit it. He stayed and waited for me and apologized. At first I didn’t recognize him, but when I saw his car I realized it was the same guy.

What really made me uncomfortable is that he acted like he didn’t know me at all. I don’t know if he genuinely didn’t recognize me, but the way he was looking at me honestly scared me. When we exchanged phone numbers, he even acted surprised and said he couldn’t believe we had already “met” before.

I was so shocked and a bit scared that I didn’t know how to react, so I just stayed calm and tried to handle it normally.

But now that I’m thinking about it, it feels really strange. What are the chances of this happening twice with the exact same person, especially when he lives pretty far away from me?

Am I overthinking this, or does this sound suspicious to you? What would you do in my situation?

For info: the first accident happened in my town, second one happened where I study. Also he is not a student and I have never seen him around in my university.

Update: today 28/04 I went to my insurance company to explain everything, including the fact that it was the same person involved in both accidents.
They told me that, from their perspective, it doesn’t look suspicious and that it could genuinely be a coincidence. They also advised me not to file a police report, because that could unnecessarily complicate things and potentially make the situation bigger than it needs to be.
According to them, there are no red flags on this person, and since he hasn’t tried to contact me or approach me in any way outside of the accidents, there’s no indication of anything intentional.

I also looked his name online and found his accounts, he seems like a normal person (I hope). I told my parents about the situation too and I am getting a new phone number.

Thank you everyone for your advice, it really helped me a lot. I appreciate all your input and support ❤️
