Hi all - looking for suggestions on how to repair the closure on a leather bag. I recently found this leather bag secondhand and, unfortunately after using it to transport some heavier tools, the piping that wraps around the bag’s closure and connects the zipper trim to the bag has started deteriorating. It looks like the edges of the leather has torn where stitches once held it in place (see photos). Looking for suggestions on how to repair this so its structurally sound to continue using (with lighter materials inside in the future). Thanks!
