Anyone else using a glass air fryer?
I switched from a regular basket-style air fryer to a glass one a while back and honestly didn’t think it would feel that different, but being able actually to see the food while it cooks is kinda nice. One thing I noticed though is the glass gets REALLY hot while cooking, so I keep mine farther back on the counter because of the kids. Basket-style air fryers definitely feel safer in that sense.
Main reason I tried glass was that I wanted to avoid the nonstick coating stuff. I’ve been using Fritaire 2x a day, and from what I saw it’s Teflon free and BPA free, which was one of the things I was specifically looking for.
Curious what other people prefer though. Do you still like the regular drawer/basket air fryers more, or have you switched to glass too?
