Hi, I just moved into a room with some other students in a new city. I can't afford a whole house; rent is expensive. I don't have a kitchen, just a refrigerator and a fairly large air fryer. I get home from work dead tired in the evenings and don't feel like making complicated meals, so I often order takeout, but it's not very healthy. Can anyone recommend any quick and easy recipes that don't require any additional cooking steps other than the air fryer?
I know this has to have been said/asked a million times before but I’m gonna do it again: I moved into an apartment with no microwave, and I’m bringing a (small) airfyer. I’m wondering what type of liner I can use when reheating stuff? I know tin foil, but any recommendations for reusable options? Of course the basket itself can be washed, but else that could be an immediately removable option?
I’ve seen stainless steel bowls as an option, but my air fryer is 6.5 x 6.5 x 5 (real x real x estimate) and I can’t find any that fit one so small.
I’ve been trying to eat healthier and up my protein so I bought an air fryer. I fried the chicken at 375 for 17 and it came out super juicy! The eggs were also air fried! I’m hooked
Made calamari in the air fryer and it actually came out tender and crunchy — no deep fryer needed.

I’ve (stupidly) had this happen to multiple air fryers where the coating chips. It took me way too long to realize it’s because I’ve let bacon grease sit too long in it. Should I toss this basket? Probably not safe to use long term right?
The brand is “Aconatic”. I don’t what the coating is or anything. Am I cooked?
I made poached eggs in my air fryer and I am so happy with the result... a perfectly
2-3 Eggs
Cooking Spray
Ramekins/ Oven proof bowl/ Silicon cups
Chopped russet potatoes into thin ish fry shape, threw them in the air fryer at 425 for 25 minutes.
No oil no salt no nothing. Didn’t flip or turn. Just waited till they were brown.
After words I sprayed them with some olive oil and added a generous amount of Australian chippy salt.
I love my air fryer so much.
Hi! One of my family members bought Ninja Crispi on a website with (usually) second hand things in my country. It was unopened though, apparently an unwanted gift. We compared it with mine (bought in the store) and most things seem to be exactly the same (also while trying to use it) but there are some little details that don’t match.
I've been trying to get my chicken perfected in the air fryer recently, and I've always been scared of cooking big chunky breast meat because I'm worried about raw middle.
So I'd been sticking to thinner cuts, but they dry out and don't taste nearly as good. Got a digital wireless meat thermometer and now I get it right every time.
My rough recipe/method:
- Score the breasts with a knife a few times to help the marinade and cooking time.
- Throw breasts into a mixing bowl, add a few dollops of greek yogurt.
- Add a few teaspoons of Patak Madras seasoning paste (I like the Indian/Pakistani flavours). Mix it all up in the bowl, and then cover and leave in the fridge to marinade. I have this on rotation now so I'm marinating for 1-2 days.
- lay out the meat in the air fryer, and put the thermometer through the biggest meat. I use it like a kebab skewer and rejoin the cuts I made to keep the meat together.
- I used a ninja AF500UK (dual zone/megazone). Setting was roast, and I put 40 mins on the timer but I use the app to tell me when to remove.
- app tells you to remove when it hits about 70 degrees internally, and it will cook itself to 75. Rest and slice. Cool for 20 mins and fridge with leftovers in a tupperware.
Hi! I couldn’t find anything for my specific question so thought i’d ask. Couple months ago I used my air fryer to heat up a frozen jamaican beef patty and then left the house for about 5 hours, came back, decided I was still going to eat it and then proceeded to get the worst food poisoning of my life for the next 3 days. Then my boyfriend used the air fryer, before i got to clean it, without my knowledge, and then HE got sick in a similar way. I’m terrified to use it all now knowing I could get that food poisoning again just from the air fryer itself.
Anyways, I know I could just clean the thing with soap and water but is there anything else? Like how do I know for sure it’s clean from the bacteria that made us sick without having to eat something?
Should I just get a new air fryer?
From what I understand, Ninja has a stronger reputation and more trust as a brand overall. Cosori, on the other hand, feels more modern and aesthetically refined, but it doesn’t seem to have the same long-term reputation or brand trust yet. Should I trust the Cosori?
Hello i just bought new bosch air fryer, and after running it for 30 minutes at 200 degrees, as manual said, i saw this small pimple like thing (near top left corner), when i took wooden spoon to remove it, a part of it stayed and i am wondering did i damage non stick coating as it could be toxic. Thanks in advance.

I don’t mean to start drama, but you might never throw away potato peels again after this 😄🥔 I had a pile sitting on the counter and instead of tossing them, I seasoned them and threw them in the air fryer… They came out crispy, golden, and honestly taste like chips — maybe even better.
2 cups Potato Peels Peels from 2 pounds of Russet or Gold potatoes. About 4-5 medium sized potatoes
1 Tablespoon Olive oil Extra Virgin olive oil or Avocado oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon Seasoning I use a mix of 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/2 paprika. Feel free to use your favorite spices and herbs.
Optional
1 Teaspoon Dried Rosemary or dried Thyme
Instructions
Scrub the potatoes thoroughly under cold running water. Use a vegetable brush if needed. Once cleaned, use a peeler to remove the skins. Try to get even peels for consistent cooking. Remember, thinner peels will become crispier. Rinse the peels under cool running water. This helps to eliminate the extra potato starch. Pat them dry with a cotton kitchen towel or paper towel.
Season. Toss the peels in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and any other seasonings of your choice. The beauty of making your own air fryer potato peels lies in the ability to customize the flavors. You can go simple with just salt and pepper. Or you can add spices like paprika, garlic powder, and rosemary.
Preheat and arrange the peels. Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and allow it to preheat for 3 minutes. This step is crucial for achieving the perfect crunch. Spread the seasoned potato peels in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking. If you have a large batch, cook them in multiple batches for the best results. Overlapping peels can lead to uneven cooking and soggy spots.
Air fry. Cook the potato peels at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes. Shake the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. Keep an eye on them during the last few minutes to prevent burning. The peels should be golden brown and crispy when done.
Oven Baked Potato Peels. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and to make cleanup easier. Spread the seasoned potato peels in a single layer on the baking sheet. Avoid overcrowding; give each piece space to crisp up properly.
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Once the oven is hot, place the baking sheet with potato peels on the middle rack. Bake for 15-20 minutes, checking halfway through to toss them around for even cooking. Keep an eye on them as baking times can vary depending on your oven and the thickness of the peels. You'll know they're ready when they turn a beautiful golden brown and are crispy to the touch.
I mean both cook them so...
I can understand why microwave food tastes different though.
Hello guys, I have recently moved into a new apartment a few days ago.I really love cooking and I'm taking this opportunity to have a fresh start and improve my kitchen space and make it more modern..I already have the basics like an oven, microwave, blender, toaster and coffee maker. What is remaining is a good air fryer so at have a complete startup kitchen.I have been looking at some of the air fryers that are available for sale on Amazon and Alibaba but I have not quite decided which one to buy at the moment. My budget is a little bit limited as I have spent most of the money in purchasing the basics and moving.I have been watching some mrwhosetheboss YouTube videos on a very nice air fryer that he bought for his kitchen and I would like something similar but at a more favorable price.I do not have a specific brand choice.Any good air fryer is ok.Looking forward to hearing your thoughts
