He told me he just wants money because he’s going backpacking through Asia for 3 months later this year, but I feel like that’s a bit low effort on my end? I still want it to feel thoughtful and personal, not like I just transferred him cash and called it a day.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? What’s something I could get him that’s actually useful for travelling but still feels like a proper gift?
