I’ve been thinking about this for a while and built SITESPLACED , thinking why is building a good-looking website still so complicated?

Most tools either:

  • overwhelm you with design choices
  • force you to learn some level of coding
  • or rely heavily on prompts/AI where you don’t fully control the output

What if there was a different approach:

A platform focused purely on beautiful, high-converting landing pages and portfolios, where:

  • design is already world-class (not average templates)
  • no coding is required at all
  • no prompt engineering either
  • you just edit text, swap images, and you’re done

Basically:
“Notion-level simplicity + agency-level design quality”

The goal wouldn’t be flexibility — it would be clarity and speed.

You open it → pick a design → edit text → publish.

That’s it.

Curious:

  • Would you actually use something like this?
  • Or do you prefer more control even if it’s complex?

Built SitesPlaced and got my first ~$58 from 2 users:
– a social media agency
– an Amazon thumbnail freelancer

That was enough signal.

So instead of adding more features, I doubled down on what worked — design.

Just shipped a new collection of landing page templates focused on:
– clean, modern UI
– better spacing & typography
– actually usable out-of-the-box layouts

Still early, but trying to raise the baseline quality of personal + SaaS sites.

Would love feedback:
What makes a landing page feel premium to you?
