Hi. Have 2012 NISSAN QASHQAI 1.5 DCI N-TEC+ - 85k miles - had red EML come up -scanned and error code P0488 showing - EGR valve fault. Recently had valve replaced but red EML came up again after a few miles. Does the ECU need a good few miles driven to sense that the valve is now working properly (a long shot I think) or am I looking at something a bit more serious?  Car actually idles/starts and runs well. Wiring to valve looks ok from what I can actually see as valves at rear of engine. Cleared code again today but came back within 5 miles.
