SAP hold, filled out an appeal. Is it likely that my appeal will be approved?
I go to Kent State University in Ohio, and I was recently placed on SAP hold. I filled out the appeal form, which is detailed with reasons why I did not meet the GPA criteria. I included two files, one with my counseling record/treatment plan that is very in depth, and one with the obituary of a family member that had passed. Both of these are explained in my writings in the appeal. I explained how the death of this family member impacted me emotionally and physically, and the steps I have since taken/am taking to better improve my mental health, study skills, time management, and anything else hindering my grades.
With documentation and detailed writings, is it likely that my appeal will be approved? I am just beginning my sophomore year in the Fall.
