PNW Neurologist
Hi All 👋🏾 I just got newly diagnosed back in March after years of pain and symptoms. My neck/back pain complaints ended up with a brain MRI showing IIH. I was given a referral to see an endocrinologist (to make sure my pituitary gland, that could not be visualized, is fine) and to a neurologist, to do a spinal tap and confirm the MRI findings.
I have yet to find a reputable neurologist around my area to get this done. I'm writing here in hopes I can find some resources and good experiences from neurologist around me. I am currently in the Vancouver, WA - Portland, OR area but I am able to make the trips to surrounding areas - Seattle, WA, and south of OR.
This diagnosis has been so daunting and having no doctor talk to me about it or even having knowledge of what this condition is, has made this search very scary. Trying to find hope where I can.
