AIW that’s it’s weird my girlfriend is having a two hour late night phone call with her (male) work friend she never talks about
Hey, I haven’t actually said anything to my girlfriend because I couldn’t decide if I was overreacting or not. My (22m) girlfriend (22f) is an elementary teacher, she has a coworker a couple years older than her also a first year teacher (25m). She doesn’t talk about him a ton but I see her texting him every now and then and she’s said she’s probably going to hang out with him over summer break because neither would hav much to do. I didn’t think a ton of it and haven’t asked much about him - but last night at like 9 PM she told me she was going to call him for a second, they talked until 11:30. When it ended she came to bed and I asked if everything was okay and she said it was just about work stuff, wouldn’t tell me much more.
The conversation was definitely lively she was laughing a lot, I hate to sound jealous but it just feels kind of like weird to me that she and her coworker she barely speaks to me about just had a 2 hour long night time phone call? Please check me if I’m being jealous or this type of thing is normal, I just cannot imagine having that type of call with anyone who wasn’t one of my closest friends and it’s not really like her.
