Insane 3-Color Layered Transition & Flow Error on Gold Spoiler (6294519) from Thanos Gauntlet (76191)
Hello everyone! I want to share an incredible story about an absolute masterpiece of a factory error I found.
Background story:
I received a LEGO Marvel Infinity Gauntlet (76191) as a birthday gift—a set I had wanted for a very long time! I patiently waited for my birthday to finally arrive, and when the day came, I opened the box and started opening the bags. That’s when I noticed this unusual element. At first, I didn’t think too much of it, just thought: "Oh, cool, this looks like one of those misprints that collectors value." But today, I finally decided to take a closer look, investigate its physics under a lamp, and fully understand what I actually have in my hands. It turns out I won a real-life lottery right here in Almaty, Kazakhstan!
This element (6294519) is a crazy Triple Layered Transition Piece (a total "layered cake" effect):
- Base layer: Original Metallic Gold with its signature satin/matte texture.
- Intermediary layer: A dark/brownish bleed line at the boundary from the previous cycle leftovers.
- Top layer: A massive, thick wave of glossy Tan plastic that physically sits higher than the gold base.
Cool technical anomalies on this piece:
- Extreme texture contrast (matte metallic gold vs. smooth high-gloss tan layer).
- The hot Tan layer thermally distorted and shifted the gold pigment/tone near the separation boundary.
- Clear gas pockets/bubbles right in the middle of the Tan flow.
- A visible Ejector Pin Mark (circular line) forced its way through the glossy layer on the right side due to the cooling pressure mismatch.
The piece is in absolute "pack fresh" mint condition. NOT FOR SALE, just wanted to share this piece of pure birthday luck with the community! What do you guys think?
