So I was originally going to major in criminology and minor in criminal justice and go to NWACC in NWA for the first two years, and then transfer to either the University of Arkansas or wherever my girlfriend is going if she gets scholarship for basketball (she wanted to rent with me if we were gonna move a few hours away and go to school with me.) But I recently just got hired at Walmart and they will pay for 100% tuition for a handful of degrees (mostly in business) but the one that stuck out to me was a Computer Science degree and I was thinking about doing that and seeing if I could minor in criminal justice still. Then I have like 20k saved in my pocket that was for college. And I ultimately wanted to work something in law so a CS degree could help me work like cyber security or computer forensics analyst. Or even just at a police department/agency like I had originally been wanting to do. I know a lot of law enforcement agencies don’t necessarily care what your major is but more so that you have your four year degree. The classes would be online too and flexible, the only requirement is I work at Walmart during school which I had already planned on doing. I just want to know if it’s a good idea or what. I know CS is kind of dying due to ai in developer jobs but I don’t see it taking over in law enforcement positions really. Here’s all the degree options as well:

BS Business Administration – SNHU
BS Business Management & Leadership - Bellevue University
BS Computer Science – SNHU
BS Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering – Indiana Tech
BS Supply Chain, Trans, Logistics – Bellevue University
BSBA in Supply Chain Management – University of Arkansas

EDIT: so apparently there’s more degrees than this but you have to login to view them and when I used my login it said my credentials didn’t match the ones my employer had so I’m gonna ask my boss tomorrow to help me.
