Massive Drug Mismanagement

I have access to prescription drug pricing - real market data as to how much my and your medications should cost. HEB overcharged me by at least $20 for a prescription by not letting me use my discount program, and ordering from the 2nd most expensive manufacturer. If this is happening to me, this is happening to tens of thousands of pharmacy customers. I should have paid $28 for my prescription (that leaves $8 profit, with none of it going to the insurance company, because they don't cover it), but instead I paid $51, because HEB mismanaged who they ordered the medication from, and rejected my discount plan, pushing theirs (that's what was told to me at the pharmay counter as to why I couldn't use my own discount program).

I want to hear your drugs and costs at HEB if you're willing to share. We all want transparency in this industry, and I want to help shed some light on what's happening here at a "trusted" neighborhood pharmacy.

And to the mods - there should be a "Pharmacy" flair. Talking about pricing is what helps people understand the market.
