[Online] [5e 2024] Multiple Sessions a Week! [EU Evenings/Afternoons] [Inclusive] [18+]

You are a group of adventurers tasked to help out the village of Hird with some critter problem or another. If it doesn’t sound like a high profile job, it's because it isn't, but somebody’s got to do it and, apparently, it’s not going to be the guardsmen.

Who could have ever imagined that such an unglamorous start would lead to an epic adventure spanning the Kingdom of Govazia and the greater continent in which it’s nestled, in a tale of war and sacrifice, fate and duty, which bards the world over will declaim for the rest of time?

About the game:

- Respectful, LGBT+ friendly and collaborative behavior is of utmost importance. 18+ age is mandatory.

- I would like multiple sessions a week with 2 groups, ideally, rather than have 5 different ones, but we'll see what the availability of all applicants is like. The days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

- The starting time is 12 PM UTC, but it's flexible enough that it could be potentially changed to up to 4 hours later for any or all days, and the sessions will last between 3 and 5 hours, depending on what each table prefers.

- We will be using Roll20 for character sheets (2014 versions, but I can deal with filling them manually myself if you need help on that front) and die rolls, and Discord for voice chat and communication.

- In story, I’d like the groups to go for a mostly serious tone, with characters acting with an appropriate degree of realism.

- I'd love for these to become long campaigns starting at Level 1 and reaching Tier 3, at least, but even if not, a satisfying conclusion will be provided, as long as the game is not cancelled due to circumstances beyond my control.

- Character creation is generally limited to the new Player Handbook, but you can create custom backgrounds following the default template and can inquire about other specific official content, if necessary. Standard array or point buy for ability scores, unless everyone at the table prefers rolling, in which case we'll generate a shared roll array used by all.

- I’ll be running things by the book (no house rules to start with), with the understanding that particularly disrupting exploits might be nerfed.

- Reskinning (keeping the mechanics while changing the flavor) is very much allowed, but keep in mind the characteristics of the setting and the tone of the game.

- We’ll all be making public die rolls, unless in-world secrecy of some kind is involved and worth keeping.

- I aim to have short but relatively frequent combat encounters, handled primarily with simple maps or Theatre of the Mind, but the other pillars of D&D will be given a fair shake/share of the attention, as well.
