Latest card to spike because of premodern seems to be [[Tireless Tribe]]. Sold all my copies (most too cheap) in the last couple of weeks. Now the cheapest available copies on Cardmarket are € 6.
I just downgraded two decks to fit our $50 price limit, and had a bit of trouble evaluating the many counterspell options. We play bracket 2-3, and I rarely have to counter creature spells.
[[Negate]], [[Wash Away]] are obvious choices. Then you have [[Memory Lapse]], [[Dispel]], [[Disrupt]], [[Spell Pierce]], [[Mana Leak]] etc. Just found [[Disruption Protocol]] as the perfect option for my artefact deck.
What counterspells do you usually run when brewing $25-50 decks, and what’s deciding which ones you use?
I finally got a copy of [[Dream Halls]] that I have been wanting to put in my [[Hashaton, Scarab’s Fist]] deck since Hashaton first came out.
What’s your experience playing Hashaton with Dream Halls? It seems like you would benefit way more than your opponents, but Dream Halls might be hard to control when everyone can cast stuff for free.
