Any other Relics around that finally took the plunge away from DND
As the title states, I am a relic, an antique, aging like a fine vinegar. I initially avoided DH as I felt it was just going to be another narrative hyper focused game at which point I have always felt you might as well just be LARPing. Old man yells at clouds, news at 11. At the same, time after running a 2 year DND campaign to mid high levels I needed a change for my sanity from trying to balance the terrible encounter system that is DND. I did a deeper dive on DH and tried to look past the narrative focus bias I had and found what seems to be a great system. For those that have switched from more crunchy systems with detailed tactics, have you and your group enjoyed the tactical options in DH while still embracing the narrative focus of the game.
