K2 Plus w/ CFS Extruder Jams

Hello Everyone,

I've had my K2 Plus w/ CFS for a few months now. I'm loving it so far, but I want to get it tuned in more. However, I'm having issues with my printer.

I've been having nothing but problems with PETG, specifically. I had no issues swapping between multiple PLA/PLA+ colors but the second I swapped to PETG, I've had issues. It seems my extruder gets jammed, like it isn't cutting at the right spot, it can't auto-feed into the extruder, and it seems to not know where the sensor is to feed it far enough in. It gets jammed pulling the filament back into the CFS. I haven't figured out if you can turn this off or not.

Any help / suggestions would be massive. I'm having a blast printing things, I'm still a novice.

Here's the filament I'm using, a colleague suggested it to me, and it's been OK for my first time working with PETG. I'm using it for prototyping.

Mods, let me know if links aren't OK, and I'll remove it.

I stumbled upon another thread while scrolling through reddit's main page and it's brought up some valid questions, after discussions with another individual in the comments. Here's a link to the comments/chat.

I work in Construction space, and often times people don't understand what I'm talking about. Much like the individual commenting on my response, they aren't familiar with how a VFL works or might not know what it's used for.

My company only cares about the class of laser being used. Class 1 or Class 2 is "safe", but class 3a or higher is banned. I'm not up to snuff on my laser technology and the anatomy of the eyeball. I work with Fiber optic materials, and I'm doing my best to keep my eyesight from failing further.

With that bit of information, can anyone suggest a Class 1 or Class 2 laser pointer that has a maximum distance of say, 100ft? Heck, even 50ft would be enough. Any useful/helpful information on how I can educate myself would be very much appreciated.
