We Got First Poster Look of Upcoming Sony Pictures Animation (Credit from Walter)
Now I know what you're thinking: we are getting super excited for Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse, coming in summer 2027. However, we actually got a first poster look for Sony Pictures Animation's upcoming film "Buds," coming out in December 2027, and not only that, we got a CGI style with no Spider-Verse/2.5D style?
Ok? I'm getting confused about this. Did Sony decide to bring back the CGI style? At first I thought Buds was going to be part of the 2.5D style along with GOAT, K-Pop Demon Hunters, and Spider-Verse, but they decided to bring it back to CGI. I'm sure I want to get a chance since Buds was all about "the relationship between talking plants and the humans who care for them." And I really wanted to see if this 2.5D style would be amazing since Sony Pictures Imageworks did work on projects. And now here we are back to the CGI style.
And I'm hopefully if we get a teaser comes, we will wait, if they showing 2.5D style show up soon or not.
