Cant identify what Assault Squad I got off Ebay, suggestions appreciated.
!!!This picture is not mine!!! The ones I received have been disassembled for a sorely needed cleanup, these are just the closest I've been able to find to them.
So I got 5 of these fellas in a pretty cheap eBay impulse bid I managed to win. (Long story, I wanted some cheap Orks and a bunch of Marines were included!)
They seem to be identical to the 3rd edition Assault Marines designed by Jes Goodwin, but unlike the those ones, their feet are flat on the base. Likewise this rules out them being the later 6th edition ones since there's no tactical rocks. I've found no trace of these anywhere outside of eBay second hand (though I admit I didn't look much farther than the Lexicanum) so I'm really curious where they're from and would love if anyone here could help me out.
