Fed up with entitled elderly in Singapore

What happened to the elderly people in Singapore? Why have they become more and more entitled and spoilt?

The explanation for the mainland Chinese spoilt behaviour is something like One Child Policy leading to entitlement would be my guess for a big reason

But what's the explanation for the elderly in Singapore?

It is a very common observation that most elderly people really love to cut queue in public transport very brazenly and are not afraid to push people to get seats. They give you a dirty look if you get a seat first.

Also, something just happened to me in a bus.

I was in a packed bus and I always like "move in" after people start leaving the bus. But obviously I can't do that if the bus is packed and the doors haven't opened yet that's just common sense right?

B4 the door even opened a Chinese elderly used her trolly to nudge at my feet and said in a frustrated voice "Hello!? I want to go out" and stared daggers at me

Fuck you cheebye the entire place was packed with people there was literally nowhere I could go but to stand there n wait for people to alight.

But nevermind, I tried finding a place to move to but couldn't. Then politely told her "please wait". Like not in a rude or frustrated way mind you I was just puzzled at that point.

Then once the doors opened people need to take time to leave the bus she nudged at me with her trolly again even harder this time and gave me a very dirty look as she starts to make her way to the exit.

An even bigger WTF for me was that her grandson was there with her watching her every move. You don't mind being this kind of role model to your grandkid? Wtf is going on sia
