I recently saw our cm asking other state people who have been living for decades in the Brahmaputra valley to choose assamese as their language. Also this is the first time they are including caste in the census. So my question is

Will this not be problem in finding out how many people of obc category are from other states if they choose assamese as the language in the census? Without such a request by the cm, we would have had a proper idea about the number of obc people in the state who speak either assamese or hindi.

For browsing a large number of data, two filters would have made it simple to find out the proper data. One is Obc + assamese language and the other is obc + hindi language.

Isnt the census meant to be a once in a decade survey to find out realistic and exact proper data? So how will it make us understand the exact state of assamese language and assamese speaking people in the state? How is this acceptable? Is there some reason or situation that i dont understand? Should there not be a separate option for those people? Like language "original/earlier hindi but now assamese" would have been a better option than just merging it with the whole assamese section? Is there anyone who is taking this issue?

Hi, so my dog likes to go outside of our house boundary to potty and pee. But the problem is, it happened to be around 3 am today. So i decided at 3:35am to go with him outside. It was dark and everything was still. Then 2 blocks away from our home, one tree started to shake at the top slowly. Its like something jumped on the tree and it sways. Not like monkey sized but something big jumped on it. I got curious and then slowly all the tress around me started to shake at the top slowly. The environment turned windy. The sky was kinda red and dark. I got confused and little scared. There is one person who crossed us and went ahead, and then he literally stopped in the middle of the road. I saw him there till i left. It was complete dark outside and a lil hint of red. One or two street light was operating and that guys body i can see in the distant, kinda waiting. Then my dog stopped and starred at the person. Then i decided not to go ahead. I have seen that man earlier times but he never stopped like that before. Also my dog never stops or stares at anyone earlier. He only pees everywhere and goes ahead till 4 blocks. But today i saw him stop and not willing to move ahead. Then as i turn my back to come home, my dog ran ahead of me and waited near my home for me. I walked that part alone. I did look back multiple times because i felt uncomfortable and uneasy. Then the last thing that happened was, as i was opening my house boundary gate, one nearby tree sounded like it fell down, but when i looked at it, it was standing and okay. That is all that happened today. And its been troubling me. What happened and is there any explanation for this. Is it paranormal? Please share your opinion.

3. I am science minded and background person so todays incident has been troubling me. Therefore i decided to come here on reddit and ask.

Update: 4:15 am, 18 august 2026.
I went outside again with my dog today at around 3:55 am and returned just now. It was raining. I went to the same spot where the trees shook randomly yesterday and stayed there for some time. I went ahead till 3 blocks today, as my dog himself returned after 3 blocks and he didnt go till 4 blocks. Overall i didnt notice anything strange. I did say i wont go again but i couldnt stop hahaa.. at least i waited and went 20 minutes later, as yesterday I went at 3:35 am. I met that person again today. He was wearing a raincoat but he didnt stop today. Thats all.

I was working from the first day until i saw proper govt, ngo and other types of relief arrive. During those days i have travelled a lot, met and helped lots of new people, learnt a lot of things. I can answer and share about the things i have learnt during those days. It was a first time for everyone there who saw the water level rise to such height in such a short time. I am actually fed up and done with instagram. Every post has one top comment from a random account which is private and is with zero posts and small following/followers. Idk if i am the only one who is noticing. They almost always type fake/fraud/negative things about that respective post.

Are you noticing this too? Why is instagram doing nothing about this?
