My Original Work takes place in an alternative 60s decade but it's realistic, there are no sci-fi or fantasy elements. It's a dark psychological read with morally grey main characters who have a dark past and character development. There is plot and slowburn. The FMC has a backbone. The MMC is an ex-rapist but he never raped or rapes the FMC. They aren't described as models and they face economical struggles. Among the scenes there are conversations between them that take place during everyday moments, as they getting to know each other. There are also conversations about their morality and their attempts to change. The story is almost complete.

Wanted to share these here. Yesterday I wrote and posted one of the last chapters. While it's not complete yet, I felt satisfied and as if I already completed it. This is the first time I wrote so many chapters for a fic and the first time I wrote almost until the end for an original work.
