Desperately need help.
As the title says, I need help.
In February 2025 I got a new phone, number changed etc. My partner is sentimental and still had our old chats from the old number there. As of recently, that number randomly popped back up that it's active on WhatsApp again & as of today has been deactivated again when my partner sent a test message to see if it would go through.
She is spiralling thinking that I am using the old number myself. I am not, I have not had that sim or access to that number since changing it when I got the new number.
Does anyone know how this could've happened, or how I can prove to them that it wasn't my doing at all, because I'm just as confused. I don't know what else to do or suggest, because I haven't had access to that number for over a year now.
