Ive never owned and AMD card. 9070 XT?

Hi all

I'm wanting to upgrade my PC from:

Ryzen 7 3700X

NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super

650 watt PSU

Done a bit of research and I've settled on:

RYZEN 7 5700X3D

Radeon RX 9070 XT

850 watt PSU

I got enough ram still at 32GB

My question is how loud is the graphics card when under load?

Also i have a alienware 3821DW monitor which has G-sync module but my research has told me it can use adaptive freesync so I can still have the variable refresh rate

Can anyone confirm that also?

First new game I want to enjoy is WOW forever and then Kingdom come deliverance 2 and other titles in future

Can't stay away playing some games

Hey dads

AWAKE I MEANT missed spelled my title

Been gaming for all my life since Mario 1 on NES

Dad now with 2 kids and get up at 5am each morning to go gym > IT office job > entertain kids till 9pm

So when I get to play the ps5 it's 9pm

I'm trying to play kingdom come deliverance but can't even stay awake for 15 mins before I does off

I think if a game has slow pacing like this one I can't stay awake and it really bugs me as I really like these RPGs and want to do the story for the first one before I buy the sequel

I notice though if I play a souls game it keeps me away I guess due to the difficulty and being on edge

Don't really play shooters anymore

Anyone else have this? Not even coffee before i game works

It's a bit frustrating sometimes as it takes me so long to finish a game like this now

I guess it's due to getting up so early

Sand Cement or glue mix for limestone pavers around pool?

Hi

Not DIYing this myself but need to be sure I get a tradie that will use the right materials

We have a pool now and around it have a concrete base

We want to put limestone coping pavers and regular pavers all around it

Coping pavers are 30mm thick and heavy and others are 20mm thick. We will also seal the pavers on all sides before laying them

One landscaper that does this said he would use a sand cement mix to lay them down

Others have said not to use that and use exterior glue

We dont know which method is best for this and getting mixed info

Even different AI engines say either sand cement and also not to use that and use glue...

Ubiquiti UniFi AC Access Point Mesh for outdoors

Hey guys

Checking out the Ubiquiti UniFi AC Access Point Mesh for my pool pump enclosure which is covered but has small 3mm gaps for ventilation. Need more wifi coverage for the back pool area so looking at Ubiquiti UniFi AC Access Point Mesh

There is a better U6 version but its double the price

Dont need anything crazy for high congestion as it would just be 2-5 clients using the wifi at any given time.

I would be mounting it in a semi enclosed timber shed that covers my pool pump equipment but so it can get some drops of condensation and rain from under the timber and rain from in between the gaps

Its not officially IP rated so wanting to ask any Ubiquiti uses if it would still be fine in my situation? Never had a Ubiquiti product before

Thanks in advance

Insulated ducting for less noise for ducted bathroom fan?

Hi guys

I am about to buy an inline fan for our ensuite fan to vent it outside instead of into our ceiling

I am wanting to know before I buy ducting if buying insulated ducting is a good idea to reduce any fan noise?

Or would just normal ducting be just as good and quiete?
