Opinions as I don’t have anyone have anyone I can Pro/ Con with outside of this Reddit page.
After researching and what’s available to me I’ve narrowed my Ht down to 2 options.
Seneca Glasgow
- FUE transplant
- £4500 for 2000 grafts
- Performed by either Dr Vougra Eleanna, Dr Gounnaris George or Dr Bankovska Elza (though can request 1 specifically)
- All 3 Dr’s are GMC Registered and part of “Healthcare Improvement Scotland”.
- Perform 1 treatment/ day, daily, Mon-Sat.
- Reddit reviews all seem good from multiple sources as well as results on other forums online.
- Results I find across different websites seem to be of good quality.
- They have locations in Scotland and Greece.
- A few consultations have called them a “Hair Mill” but I can’t find any proof of that so far myself.
Dr Bonaros
- FUE transplant
- £6500 for 1800 - 2000 grafts (pricing is however based on size of procedure compared to number of grafts)
- Personally performs every procedure about 2 treatments/ week.
- Results posted on “Hair Restoration Network” and “Hairloss Experiences” are very positive.
- Reddit reviews are scarce, with comments on his work mostly all coming from 1 Redditor.
- Unsure if low number of reviews compared to other Dr’s comes from less results or just a consequence of working out of a small population country.
- He is an Affiliate Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, as well as the only hair transplant surgeon in Scotland who is a full member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery.
There’s always going to be pros and cons no matter who I pick. Just hoping to ping ideas with those who have already done this journey or a “red flag” I haven’t thought to look for.
