How to restart a half complete print on the Kobra S1
I have a multi day print that the printer / Next decided was "complete" before the end. Now, I've restarted prints on other printers by editing the g-code. But it seems that Anycubic Next allows you to select a start layer. However I've noticed that the S1 seems to have a homing sequence that I think is independent of the g-code.
Now normally I'd experiment with it myself to solve this kind of thing. But after printing this on the slowest high quality settings I could, I'd like to try and save this without creating a seam. That might already be shot, since the print fully cooled. But my questions are:
Is there a good way to measure with the printer what layer it ended on, since it's really hard to measure this to within a sub mm precision. However the S1 seems to require a full homing sequence before I can jog the print head
How to initiate a print at a middle layer level that won't trigger a z homing probe?
Any clue how to avoid this in the future? I'm assuming it's a firmware issue. But that's quite the landmine.
