Directional mode Mic 3, is AI making this up?
I'm wanting to add a camera-mounted directional mic to my current mic 3 setup, thinking I might add something plugged into the RX 3.5mm jack.
While searching around the issue AI came up with this:
"Directional & Switchable Pickup: Offers excellent isolation. Unlike standard omnidirectional mics, the Mic 3 can be set to super-directional or voice-focus modes, suppressing background noise and operating similarly to a shotgun microphone."
I've searched for more information on that and not found anything useful. Is that just a hallucination or some other mic3 mode now called something else (noise cancelling perhaps) or what? If that's correct it would simplify the choice for my use case. I'd get a second TX instead and put it into directional mode for added flexability for other uses.
