Ears hurt

I have jumped off a few rocks. I do open water lifeguarding and go with lifeguard friends and we always use spotters and stay relatively safe. The issue I keep running into is that when I land feet first the second my head is in the water it feels like the impacts inwards really hard. I have done some free diving up to about 30ft and I know how to equalize and that most days I can go down about 12ft without issues. So I think the pain is coming from how my body hits the water and then comes back in towards me? Is it bc I stick my arms out or land with my feet flat instead of slightly pointed? What is it?

How do you pick headphones?

I have had Sony xm4 headphones. I got them right when they came out. Now they are fully broken 😂. I want to buy new headphones and so lost. I have been thinking Sony mdr mv1 or buying the newer xm5 from Sony or the momentum 5, HDB 630. I will be using them at my desk and maybe when I fly, but I have AirPod pros gen 2 and use those when I travel. Also my room is very quiet so I think open backs might be fun. I just don’t know how to pick. I listen to some music and play some video games. I also wear glasses, want to keep budget under $500 and live in California and open to buying stuff used. I just don’t get how to pick. What headphones do you guys use and why?

Girlfriend got sick when can we be close again?

She stopped having major symptoms 2 days ago but she still has a stuffy nose and raspy voice but no cough or anything else. How long should I wait to kiss her and be close to her? Is it until she isn’t congested anymore or???

Muscle ups?

I can do around 13 strict pull ups on a bar. I can do a muscle up on rings in one motion and both arms at the same time but I have to kip or swing or what ever. The issue is when I go to a bar I can’t do it. I just don’t know how to get around the bar without hitting it or getting stuck. I can’t get above the bar. Does anyone have a good video that explains it or YouTube video or guide?

I have a wave storm and really like it but I lifeguard at a lake and we use 9ft boards and they are so much easier to paddle. I am assuming more liters would mean I can catch more waves especially if it’s small? When the waves are waist high it’s not an issue but when it’s small i can’t catch them on the wave storm? Should I just buy one used? I found a Mc fanning 9ft soft top board with no dings or scratches or anything for $300 is that worth it?
