Wondering if someone can help please:)
I have been after a budget player just to spin some old records and I have scores an ion air lp for free from local a Facebook recycle page
The person said it was cutting in and out and they think this was caused when they changed the cartridge.
I am pretty sure the issue is as in the image, when I removed the cartridge wires, there is a connection that seems to be a little plate, maybe an earth with a wire connected?
Anyway, the copper wire seems to just be loose and I am assuming this should be soldered on place possibly just flat along the bottom as there seems to be a slight mark there (if you zoom in).
Apologies for the stupid description but maybe was hoping someone could help point me in the right direction of how to repair?
