I use the app almost daily and every few weeks the Dashboard 2.0 resets to the default settings. All the services are still set and working. It is not like there is an update and then it resets. I can't pinpoint the cause, it feels very random.
Just came across Ampchor. Looks nice, but it gives me the AI build vibes. I am in no way connected to Ampchor
Flut renamer-bulk file renamer is an amazing app with allot of options to rename your files. The only downside is that your files need to be on your device.

I run Monet Launcher on my Google TV. On my NAS I run a script that creates wallpapers from shows and series in my Plex library. It would be awesome if I could sync them to my Google TV when I turn my TV on.
I have a folder containing movie and show wallpapers that change periodically. It would be great if we could set a folder as a source for the rotating wallpapers.
Twin window shows the start screen again and start in twin panel closes the app. This is v1.7.1 mobile
First of all a big thanks to u/GoRo2023. Been extensively using Ultimate File Manager Pro for a while now. With each update it is getting better and better. I didn't want to open a multitude of topics, some are mentioned before. Here are a few things I want to address for your todo list:
New File Creation: Creating a new file opens the editor, but it is not possible to edit the new file. You have to close the file and reopen it to start editing. Preferred solution is to create the file and show it in the file manager. If the user wants to edit the content of the file he/she can open the file.
Advanced Sync: Advanced sync to SMB doesn't work. Probably missing the // in the location.
UFM Player: UFM Player doesn't respect the set sorting of the folder. If you select descending UFM Player uses the ascending sorting.
SMB Connection Reliability: SMB connection is not reliable. UFM Pro looses connection some of the time. For instance: The loading icon keeps spinning and after a few retries everything is fine again. Or while browsing the folders custom sort and filtering isn't applied. Going out of the folder and back in the custom sort and filtering is applied again. My first instinct was it's a network issue, but I ruled that out already. SFTP doesn't have this issue.
Batch Delete Glitch: When deleting a batch of files on SMB (for example 100 large files in a folder with 500 large files) at the end UFM Pro shows an empty folder. The action takes a few minutes obviously. Probably it is linked to the SMB connection. Almost got a heart attack 😂
Current way it works from my experience:
* Instant sync is triggered when a new file lands in source folder
* The sync profile runs
* Only files that are present during the sync will get synced
* New files arriving in the source folder during syncing are ignored
Improvement suggestion: * New files arriving during syncing triggers the sync profile, but..
* The trigger gets queued
Or
* After the sync profile has run UFM checks for new files
* If new files are detected in the source folder the sync profile runs again.
In UFM Pro Google drive doesn't show folders. Upload and downloads do work.
When viewing or selecting one image file I would like an 'set as' option. Mostly this is used for setting an image as wallpaper or as a profile picture.
Now if you apply sort & filter, the sort is set as the default. Same is for the View mode. Is it possible to set a custom sorting per folder and an option to apply it to all folders (set it as default). Same goes for View mode.
I noticed when applying a "custom" sort & filter, media plays in the order of the standard sort & filter. I don't know if it is possible, but when I apply a custom sort & filter, the mediaplayer respects the applied sort & filter.
I hope my request makes sense.
The app goes back to NFSv3 if NFSv4 is manually selected and saved., after the app is closed and removed from recent items. Same behavior when setting it on auto.
SOLVED: Version 1.6.3 fixes this.
Checked all the settings on my NAS. Everything is correct. Something for after your vacation 👍
Trying Advanced sync. Setup is easy, but it keeps saying the connection is lost on SMB. I am at home on a stable WiFi 7 connection.
Troubleshooting done: Tried enabling/disabling all kinds of settings. The error remains the same. SFTP works: Regular SFTP connections work fine without issues.
Also found a bug (SFTP): When I enable "move files after upload", empty 0-byte files stay behind in the source folder.
Feature request: I would like to select internal storage for a destination folder.
Creating a file or folder on SMB gives an error. The first folder name is mentioned twice in the error. My guess is that in the code the folder is declared twice.

Files starting with a . aren't hidden (ex: .nomedia). The setting 'show hidden files' is off and the files still show.
When selecting folders or files, the options don't show at first. Switching to another app and go back will show the file/folder options.

Since the v23.3 Recently downloaded from Radarr changed and now shows also movies that have been downloaded, but aren't present anymore. It was perfect before in my opinion. Is there a reason why it changed?
Can it go back to the way it was, or give users the option to choose.
I love the app ❤️, but I am bit bummed about this change.
