Need help redoing my bedroom layout!
Hey everyone,
I’m looking to completely redo my bedroom layout, but I’ve hit a wall trying to figure out where to move everything. It’s a bit of an awkward space with multiple doors, light switches, and a radiator I can't block.
I’ve attached a rough sketch of my current layout and pictures of my current room to give you an idea of what I'm working with.
Here are my main constraints:
The Desk & PC CANNOT move: My mains outlets are located under the desk and powers all of my electronic like my consoles, pc, screens, etc. It has to stay anchored by those top-left outlets.
The Radiator & Windows must stay clear: I don't want to obstruct the radiator or block the windows/the second door on the third picture.
Severe Sun Damage: My current bookcase and plushie storage face the windows directly. The UV rays are literally destroying my books (my Minecraft Mobestiary got completely bleached on one side, RIP). Moving the bookcase out of direct sunlight is priority #1!
What can move:
My bed (currently a twin against the top wall).
The bookcase and plushie storage.
The nightstand.
The large wooden wardrobe/display cabinets if absolutely necessary (though it is heavy).
I'm trying to figure out how to maximize my floor space, protect my books, and make the room feel less cluttered without touching the computer setup.
